Rod End / Premium Heim Joint – Race-Ready Performance: Engineered for extreme durability and precision, this Heim Joint is built to perform under the most demanding conditions. Designed for high-stress applications such as racing, off-road suspension setups, and custom fabrications, this rod end delivers superior strength and reliability.
Each joint is crafted from aircraft-grade 4130 chromoly steel, a material known for its exceptional tensile strength and fatigue resistance. The internal ball is made from 52100 bearing-grade steel, which undergoes heat treatment, hard chrome finishing, and precision grinding to ensure maximum wear resistance and smooth articulation. This combination results in a component capable of withstanding continuous movement and intense loads.
To further enhance longevity, the joint features a Kevlar-reinforced PTFE (Teflon) liner, which reduces friction and supports high-cycle performance without sacrificing responsiveness. A zinc-plated finish adds corrosion resistance, protecting the joint from moisture, mud, and debris often encountered in off-road environments.
These rod ends are sold individually and are available in both left-hand and right-hand thread orientations—be sure to select your preferred style before checkout. As with all high-performance suspension and steering components, rod ends are considered wear items and should be inspected regularly and replaced as needed for optimal performance and safety.
